Why I’m Running: Part 4

When I moved to Whitehall Manor in 2009, I immediately saw the need for a paved connection to the Beaver Creek Greenway and a sidewalk along South Salem to Downtown Apex. After unsuccessfully advocating for the projects by myself, I realized that I needed help. Once the residents of Whitehall Manor got organized, we convinced the Town Council to build the Beaver Creek Greenway connector in 2014 and the South Salem sidewalk in 2015. These successes have been great for our neighborhood, and I want to empower the residents of other neighborhoods in Apex to come to the Council with ideas that will improve their part of Town.
